About Chicago Hope Academy
Chicago Hope Academy (CHA) is a coed non-denominational college and life preparatory high school dedicated to nurturing and challenging the whole person – body, mind, and spirit – in the glory of God.
Chicago Hope offers challenging college preparatory curriculum that balances physical, mental, and spiritual development; gifted teachers who encourage and mentor students; athletics that teach the value of teamwork, discipline, sacrifice, sportsmanship, and perseverance; opportunity for students to appreciate and practice the arts; a school that impacts the student, family, and surrounding community for Christ; and, a school that teaches and exemplifies a servant attitude.
We were introduced to CHA through a friend that was a teacher at the school. We were very impressed with the values of the school and the success they were having with students. After a few phone conversations with administration, we decided to visit the CHA campus. We spent an entire day touring the school, visiting classes, meeting administration, meeting students, touring the neighborhood, and attending their worship service. That day confirmed our belief that CHA would be a great addition to our scholarship foundation. This school was added in 2018.
Our plan with Chicago is to personally fund four years of scholarships. We will work with the students on mentoring as we do all students, while also looking to work with friends, family, and anyone interested in assisting with our Chicago Hope scholarship to grow the scholarship infinitely for future students. Our ultimate goal is to have local people, and those interested in the CHA values, to fully support the scholarship program on an infinite basis.
